NATIONAL

The University of Toledo offers a Master of Arts Degree in Counselor Education with a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Concentration 听and a Master of Arts in Counselor Education with a School Counseling Concentration. Both are fully accredited by 听听(颁础颁搁贰笔).

Passage of the听(NCE) and/or the听(NCMHCE) is required for Professional Counselor听licensure in some states. Educational requirements to sit for the NCE and NCMHCE may be established by state licensure boards and vary by state.

Note: Some states require candidates to possess a teaching license prior to applying for licensure as a School Counselor.听 Examination requirements may be established by state licensure boards and vary by state. Passage of the Praxis Requirements Professional School Counselor 5421, among others, is required in some states.听Please check with the State Board for all non-academic requirements.听听
